I have absolutely no complaints with this product. I have been using it on my face and it is absorbed quite quickly without any fuss or greasy patches. In fact, a friend of mine actually commented on how good my sister’s skin was looking – my sister has been using the product as well, but she has been slightly more dedicated than me and is using it at least twice a day.
With so many creams flooding the market at exorbitant prices, it is nice to find one that is inexpensive and does exactly what it says on the tin/plastic tube. With my sister getting compliments about her skin, it has only spurred me on to use it as much as she does so I can get them too!

There’s a balance required in making the right moisturiser. HealthAid try to establish themselves in the tougher part of the market, creating a cream rich in vitamin E with no SLS, parabens or artificial fragrances. As a result the cream feels somewhat watery as it is rubbed in and it smells of almond oil, rather than the clean artificial smell found elsewhere. It also doesn’t produce the smooth feel of silicon laden products. What is does do is moisturise and is very effective at it. So if you are looking for a nourishing cream, which may not feel luxurious, but is friendly to your skin and body, this is a decent moisturiser.

I am an avid user of body lotions and oils so was keen to try this one out. On first contact, I found it to be slightly greasy which put me off as I had to rub it in quite vigorously. However, the cream is very quickly absorbed and does not leave a residue. It also leaves the skin feeling very smooth. There is no real smell to it and I quite like creams with scent but this did not put me off. In fact, it is quite refreshing to use a cream that does not have an overpowering smell or one that could clash with your perfume. I certainly found it revitalising and like the fact that it is natural with no parabens and other such nasties. A mid-range cream which is handy to keep in your bag and use for dry areas such as knees and elbows. Great on sensitive skin.
